Hi Tere!  The water was very calm and the boat was just drifting along, the dog would actually run from the front of the boat back to the owner, as if to say, Let's get to movin along.

Hi Teresa!  Ahh, yes, the owner was having a very good evening and was really catching the fish, he definitely liked the sport of fishing as he through the fish back in the lake.  The dog was having the time of his life and appeared he had done this boating adventure in the past.

Hi Myrl:  I think you are right there, I just did not see the cooler!  I am certain that they probably were having a very enjoyable evening and you know, it did not cost them anything to have such fun.  Thanks for commenting.

Very peaceful photo. One of my dog always loved going out in my boat, on the lake when I went fishing. We always had a real fine time. Never once did she fall out of the boat.

Hi Dale!  Good to hear you are a fisherman as Missouri has some fine fishing.  I am curious as to what kind of dog you had that went fishing with you.  One of our neighbors has a water spaniel and sure is fun to watch that dog in the lake.
