Speechless Sunday with Text....4th of July Kids Parade...St Joseph Mo

Parents and Grandparents lined the streets today for the 4th of July Kids Parade in St Joseph.

4th July Kids Parade

The kids rode bikes, scooters, big wheels and several were pulled in wagons or walked, in celebration of the 4th of July

Many were dressed for the occasion while others carried flags.

Americana is alive and well:-)  My family is home for the 4th.  We went to the parade, barbequed, and took in the fireworks.  Today, we will be on the river.  I'm totally exhausted - but in a good way!

Maria:  These kids are cute, aren't they?  They really had a great time in our neighborhood parade.  Hope you had a nice 4th of July weekend!

Charles:  I love parades and the kids had a great time and loved the "cool pop" treats at the end.  Charlottesville most likely had many weekend events also, didn't they?  Thanks for stopping by over the weekend.

Myrl:  Glad to hear your family came for the weekend!  Sounds like you really had a "firecracker" of a weekend, didn't you?  I agree it can wear a person out, but when with family it is a great weekend!

Hi Terrie!  Did your family have a great 4th of July?  How did your puppy like the fireworks?  I am sure Nevada had plenty of activity this weekend!  Good to see you on Facebook, too!

Sara:  Isn't it fun when your neighborhood plans a celebration for the kids?  I am sure that in the Houston Bay area, there was many big and little events to take in over the 4th.  Have a great week!

Hi Konnie!  She was a little princess firecracker for sure with those big pretty eyes, wasn't she?  She was taking everything in and seemed to be having a great time with the other kids.  Have a great week!

Looks like the kids have the parents outnumbered in that first photograph. Sure hope the kids didn't decide to mutiny! LOL

Russel!  You are so silly!  Actually the parents/grandparents could not keep up the kids.  Isn't it great to see a group of youngsters together have such a good time?  I am going to your blog tomorrow as the day ended a hour ago and it is alreay tomorrow.
